Booby Pond Nature Reserve
The largest colony of red-footed boobies in the western hemisphere- more than 5,000 breeding pairs- make their permanent home
at this "United Nations Wetland of International Importance". This remarkable habitat is also home to the only
breeding colony of magnificent frigate birds in this hemisphere.

Tarpon Lake
Tarpon Lake is stunningly beautiful and filled with the prize game fish after which it is named. With no natural predators,
the tarpon grow abundantly to trophy size.
Snipe Point
On Christopher Columbus' last voyage to the new world in 1503, he came ashore on Little Cayman at Snipe Point. From here you
can also see the Sister Island of Cayman Brac, about 7 miles away.
The Iguanas at Candle Road
In the dense tropical forest at Candle Road, iguanas, some more than 5 feet in length, regularly sun themselves in the afternoon.
These wild, magnificent creatures have little fear of human contact so they are easy to observe up close and personal.
Point of Sand
Located on the easternmost shore of Little Cayman, Point of Sand is a beautiful beach and swimming area.
Owen Island
On the South side of Little Cayman, Owen Island is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. Located just off the Southern
Cross Resort, Owen Island can be reached by Kayak or a short swim. The island is a great place to picnic and snorkel.

Though small and unhurried, Little Cayman boasts a number of fine dining and drinking establishments, from the funky Hungry
Iguana to the gourmet dining at Pirates Point.
There is a small strip mall near the airport with a well stocked market and car rental facility. Credit cards are accepted
throughout the island.
